Our goal is to roast the best coffee from the best coffee beans and bring it to your cup! Of course, many coffee roasters claim this, but how is it actually possible? We'll tell you about our philosophy and our approach!
The best coffee beans
We source our green coffee exclusively from coffee farmers we know and whose working methods we can understand and observe. The sustainability of coffee cultivation and fair compensation for the coffee farmers are of particular importance to us.
Besides sustainability and fair trade, we are of course also interested in the quality of the coffee beans . These have the greatest influence on the cup profile and the taste that ultimately results in your cup – even the best coffee roaster cannot achieve a good flavor profile with inferior quality green coffee.
The processing of coffee beans
The processing of the coffee beans has a very special influence on the taste of the coffee – you'll always find the processing method listed on the information card for all our coffee varieties! Traditional processing includes washed and natural methods. However, over many years, there has been a great deal of experimentation with coffee bean processing, with targeted efforts to coax new flavor notes from the beans. For example, attempts are made to obtain particularly fruity notes from the coffee cherry through different types of fermentation and adjustments to the fermentation duration.
We have several of these processing methods in our coffee range - so please take a closer look at the information about the coffee and keep an eye out for the special processing methods!

Roast the best coffee from the best coffee beans!
We roast our coffee beans on a Loring coffee roaster and work with roasting profiles. This means we develop a unique roasting profile for each of our coffees, which is continuously analyzed and optimized.
Coffee beans are a natural product and are therefore subject to fluctuations in cultivation. Different levels of sunlight, soil nutrient content, and rainfall in the respective coffee-growing region – there are a number of factors that influence the development of the coffee cherries and, consequently, the coffee beans.
To ensure the coffee develops perfectly during roasting, our roasting profiles are analyzed and constantly optimized by our master roaster. Tasting our specialty coffees is therefore an integral part of our quality management.
Is there such a thing as the best coffee?
There's probably no such thing as the "best" coffee, but we want to try! Everyone has different tastes and therefore prefers different coffees. Some prefer filter coffee , others espresso – so it's virtually impossible to roast and offer the "best" coffee. That's why it's important to us to offer you a coffee selection that includes a wide variety of different coffees.
