Meiteitei AA – On the origin of coffee

Meteitei Set Kobor is located in Nandi County, Kenya. The cooperative is an association of 323 farmers and is managed by Jeremiah. They have built their own washing station. The farmers deliver the coffee cherries, which are processed there and then offered as a joint product. The farmers are the source of the high-quality coffee. They also have a women's project with 50 female farmers. Mary Korir is the chairwoman of the women's group. There are 1,200 coffee trees on her farm.
