La Esperanza - On the origin of coffee

The finca is located near Acevedo, in the Huila coffee region of southern Colombia. William Gomez is the fourth generation to run the coffee farm, where he lives with his wife and two children. The family's livelihood depends entirely on coffee cultivation.

He has been cultivating the Colombia, Castillo, and Pink Bourbon varieties for more than 10 years. Pink Bourbon requires a great deal of care and growing conditions specifically tailored to it.
