Eiskaffee Rezepte Nachmachen

The perfect summer refreshment: iced coffee. But there isn't just one iced coffee recipe. So we asked ourselves what variations are out there. We've gathered all sorts of delicious iced coffee recipes and written them down for you here. Let us know how you like your iced coffee best, and have fun making them at home!

Iced coffee with filter coffee

The classic with vanilla ice cream

Ice cream parlors often try their hand at this classic iced coffee recipe, but: its success depends entirely on the quality of the coffee. Therefore, it's extremely important to use very high-quality coffee for this simple recipe. You will also need:

  • 200 ml filter coffee
  • Approximately 100 ml of milk
  • 1-2 scoops of vanilla ice cream
  • whipped cream
  • Topping of your choice (sprinkles, brittle, cocoa powder)

Now pour the coffee, milk, and vanilla ice cream into a glass, top with whipped cream, and finish with a topping of your choice. Enjoy!

Coffee ice cubes

You will need: coffee and an ice cube tray. Pour the coffee into the tray and chill it.
Now you can use the coffee ice cubes either on their own with milk or add them to other recipes as a substitute for water ice cubes. This way, your iced coffee recipe won't get watered down, and you'll get that extra coffee kick!

Cold Brew - The summer drink for coffee lovers

This iced coffee recipe is for coffee nerds. Cold brew is less often drunk with milk, as it uses particularly high-quality coffee with an intense flavor that's meant to be enjoyed on its own. You will need the following ingredients:

  • 100g ground coffee
  • 1 liter of cold water

Pour coffee and water into a large container, stir well, place in a dark, cool place, and let it stand for at least 12 hours. Then filter the coffee and enjoy the particularly low-acid and low-bitter, fruity, and refreshing "iced coffee".

Iced Cold Brew

Iced Cold Brew Martini

This particularly fruity cold brew can also be a winner in an iced martini. You will need the following:

  • 3 cl Cold Brew
  • 5 cl vodka
  • 5 cl coffee liqueur
  • ice cubes
  • 3 coffee beans

Place all ingredients except the coffee beans in a cocktail shaker and shake for about 30 seconds. Strain the mixture into a martini glass. Garnish the crema with the coffee beans. Perfect for elegant summer nights.

Iced coffee recipes with espresso shots

The Iced Latte

This iced coffee recipe is suitable for anyone who has an espresso machine at home. You will need the following ingredients:

  • 2 espresso shots of your choice
  • 200 ml milk/plant-based alternative
  • ice cubes
  • For those who like it: syrup

First, pull two espressos from your portafilter machine and set them aside. Now take a nice glass and fill it with milk and ice cubes. Pour the espressos over the milk – a beautiful color gradient will appear!
Alternatively (for those who like it extra cold), you can also shake your espressos with ice cubes. Simply pour your espressos and ice cubes into a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Then simply add it back to the milk.
If you like, you can also make a vanilla iced latte from your iced latte. Simply add some vanilla syrup and enjoy.

Iced Espresso Latte

The Frappuccino

The Frappuccino is still one of the most popular iced coffee recipes in summer! It doesn't actually have that much to do with coffee anymore, but it's still delicious! You'll need the following ingredients for this fluffy refreshment:

  • 2 Espresso Shots
  • 150 ml milk/plant-based alternative
  • Syrup (e.g., caramel)
  • whipped cream
  • cocoa powder
  • ice cubes

For this delicious iced coffee recipe, combine the espresso, milk, and syrup (2 tablespoons – depending on your desired strength) with the ice cubes in a blender. Blend until you have a smooth, creamy liquid. Pour the mixture into a pretty glass and garnish with whipped cream. Sprinkle with cocoa powder – and you're done!

The summer trend: Espresso Tonic

This trend has been going strong for several years now and is indispensable! You will need:

  • 2 particularly fruity espresso shots
  • Tonic water
  • ice cubes

Fill a glass with about 150 ml of tonic water and a few ice cubes. Pull two particularly fruity espresso shots and carefully pour them into the tonic water. The espresso won't mix directly with the tonic water, leaving "espresso threads and droplets" throughout the drink. It not only looks incredibly cool, but it's also incredibly refreshing.

We hope you found some delicious iced coffee recipes that you'd like to try at home. Let us know how you like your iced coffee and which ones we absolutely have to try next.
